How WWM color codes work

Where Winds Meet colors text with inline codes. A code sets the color of everything after it until the next code - there are no closing tags. There are two kinds:

• Preset colors - #Q, #W, #E ... one of the 26 built-in colors. Costs 2 characters.
• Custom colors - #RRGGBB hex, e.g. #a78bfa. Any color, but costs 7 characters.

The game counts the whole code - colors included - toward the limit (70 for signatures, 300 for chat). This tool only emits a code when the color actually changes, so consecutive same-colored letters stay cheap.
